Dr. Paul Heckman, Associate Dean, School of Education, UC Davis: Dr. Heckman teaches Leadership & Change Across Communities, and Problem Based/Community Building.
Dr. Paul Porter, Professor, School of Education, Sonoma State University: Dr. Porter teaches Contemporary Educational Leadership, Problem Based/Community Building and Ethical Leadership.

CANDEL Staff:
Amelia Swearingen, Professional Programs Coordinator, UC Davis: Amelia joined the CANDEL program in July 2009. She is a graduate of CSU Chico (BA '98, MA '01) and lives in Sacramento. After working at CSU Chico and University of Washington, Seattle, she is enjoying her time on the UC Davis campus and is thrilled to be part of the CANDEL program.
Rosemary Galten, CANDEL Program Coordinator, Sonoma State University: Rosemary started working for the CANDEL program in October 2005. She is a graduate of San Francisco State (BA '86) and University of San Francisco (MA '96) and has enjoyed living in Petaluma for the last 16 years with her husband Brendan, daughter Kelly (12), and dog, Lira (5).
